What to know about your stay

  • All rates include the following at no charge: Use of tennis courts and equipment, daily cross-country skiing trail ticket, outdoor heated swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, library, board games, and use of the ice-skating rink, use of the snow tubing hill.


  • Activities with an additional charge: Horseback riding, gliding, sleigh rides, cross country ski rental, and ice skate rental.


  • We require a two-night stay on weekends, during peak season, and all stays in our cottage.


  • All rooms have a private bath.


  • The Inn cannot accept pets to ensure the comfort of other guests. We appreciate your understanding.


  • The Franconia Inn has a full liquor license, which by New Hampshire law, prohibits guests from consuming alcohol on the property that was purchased from another location. Guests cannot consume alcohol that was not purchased at the Inn.


  • Daily rates quoted per room. Some rooms can accommodate more than two guests. A cot may be added to some rooms.


  • Deposit Requirements: We ask for a credit card to keep on file at the time of booking, but we do not charge the card until checkout. 


  • Cancellations: Should you need to cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible. Any cancellation, regardless of the reason (including COVID-19), made less than 10 days before a reservation is subject to a cancelation fee equal to 100% for a one-night stay, or 50% of a stay of 2 or more nights.


  • Gratuities and New Hampshire 8.5% meals and rentals tax are not included in the rates.


  • Our rooms are TV-free. There is a television in the lounge and in Peaks Pub.


  • The Inn does not have an elevator. We have 4, first-floor rooms that are handicap accessible and have handicap accessible bathrooms. If you have mobility issues, let us know in advance so we can reserve one of these rooms for you.


  • We STRONGLY recommend having a mode of transportation when you stay with us. There are not many reliable or affordable transportation services in the area.


  • Our dining options may not be open during certain offseason, midweek stays. Kindly call the Inn for the most up to date details about your stay.


  • Please note: the Inn is closed April to mid-May.
